Communication according to Hans Rosling

Hans Rosling is inspirational in the way he communicates, the way he sells his ideas and the way he presents his arguments. He presents boring statistical data in a way that even a child could understand it.

In the same way he has helped me understand that what I do as a strategist is of no value, if I cannot sell my solutions to a client. I like what Business Week Online has to say about him, “Rosling believes that making information more accessible has the potential to change the quality of the information itself.”

Everything keeps coming back to that, you need to not only understand your own data in the end, but you also need to get your clients to understand your data if your solutions are ever going to see the light of day.
